When I first came to Santa Linya 6 years ago only one 8c had been climbed by a girl here.
Over the next few years, and after months of work, Hannah and Muriel made the first female ascents of a few more.
With big moves and a very physical style the girls seemed to struggle, instead favoring walls like Oliana with it's smaller holds and less steep angle.
Then something changed, and routes that just a few years earlier were thougth to be the girl anti style (because of their reachy and bouldery nature), got sent in a few days by @白石阿島 and @ミナ・マルコヴィッチ, and routes Hannah and Muriel spent months on got flashed by @ヤンヤ・ガンブレット.

The cutting edge of difficulty has always been dominated by the men, but for the first time the girls seem to be catching up.
