A statue of The Queen, unveiled by The Duke of Kent, The Queen's cousin, as he opened The Forum Southend-on-Sea, the UK's first wholly integrated public university and college library.

The statue created by Essex born painter and figurative sculptor John Doubleday, whose other works include a statue of The Duke of Edinburgh.
