A leap of ADVENTURE by artist @carlajweeks / “Four months ago, I left my day job to pursue work as a freelance designer and artist. I rented my apartment and took a trip across the US to see the country and visit friends, picking up jobs along the way to make it possible. I’ve visited 20 states and six national parks, learned how to start a vineyard, graft fruit trees, plan a wedding, and have shared many wonderful experiences with the most amazing people. I will soon be doing an art residency in Colorado, creating paintings and textiles based on my travels for an upcoming show in Philadelphia this spring.”
