This was taken by Nick on an iPhone when I was nearly two months pregnant & becoming more familiar with my "new" body. The past 5 years is when I started to really learn how to love myself. Before that point, I would have never shown my arms or stomach.. cardigans & shape wear were my life. I would have never dreamed of a career based on my looks or body, or that "model" would be attached to my identity. Now, I have a firm understanding of who I am & a massive appreciation for what my body has done for me. I look at this photo today, a couple months have passed since it was taken... My stomach is bigger & rounder. It's amazing. I thought I knew myself so well, & it turns out I had so much more to learn. #motherhoodrising
