Today is my fathers bday! Dad I know it's always hard for u to celebrate ur day bc that's when grandma passed too. She raised an amazing man who grew up to be a great dad and husband. I know she's always smiling down on u. I want to take the time to thank u for being my number one fan. For always supporting and believing in me even when mom didn't understand it in the beginning, u got it though and u trusted me in all this. Now look she's my runner up number one fan too ::laughs:: I still remember that story u told me when I was 20 , that u had a dream that I was on stage performing n that I was on TV n magazines. I looked at u like u were nuts bc I didn't even have a clue I'd be in the industry let alone doing what I do now. Funny how four years after ur dream I landed my debut on TV, covers, film, music. Even w the bump in my road (falling in N getting out of an abusive relationship) I know it killed u to see my bruised up n lacerated body. I know it killed u to see my broken spirt But Dad it was with ur love and moms that brought me back from the dead. I look at this photo everyday to remind me how proud u were when I performed my song "in love w the DJ" for the first time at Latin Mixx Awards NYC . It was a year and half after I got out of that toxic relationship. I ran off stage to u n mom n we all cried. U helped me get my wings back and I haven't stopped flying. I love you so much. HAPPY BDAY DADDY!!! ???
