Host Minke's town, Staphorst, in the eastern Netherlands, is a community that holds strong to its history. When Minke opened her home on Airbnb for "a wider view of the world,” her neighbors thought it was a little strange. But as her “golden” guest book filled with memories of new friends, the community began opening up, welcoming guests to experience the local heritage.
