"Have I mentioned how much I love @joico intensities ?! ? 3 weeks ago I did this beautiful Velvet Blue on my client, she wanted to go more on the lilac side this time, so I got rid of her blue with an easy "bleach wash"
Bleach Wash Formula: 1 scoop of @schwarzkopfusa Blonde Me lightner + 20 vol. developer + 5 ounces of @aghair shampoo + 1/2 oz @olaplex #1.
Within 1 minute of applying her hair turned turned blonde!!!! (Never in my life has a blue been so easy to take out of hair, normally it turns green & takes a few steps to get back to blonde) !!! ? I was so happy to discover how easy it was to get rid of the blue & turn her the beautiful misty lilac that she wanted.
Applied @Olaplex # 2 after rinsing lightner for 10 min.
Formula for the velvet blue: Lighten to level 9 1/2. Tone silver grey. Mix 1 ounce of Mermaid Blue by @joico intensities with 3 ounces of clear and apply on wet hair for 5 minutes.
Formula for the Misty Lilac: Lighten to level 9 1/2. Tone silver grey. Apply 1 ounce of Orchid + 1 ounce of Amethyst purple by @joico intensities on the base feathering down about 4 inches.
Apply 1 ounce of Amethyst purple + 3 ounces of clear by @joico intensities and apply mid to ends. Scissoring with fingers to blend the top base with the mid color effortlessly. Leave on damp hair for 10 minutes & vòila !! ?
