As a young child my life seemed to revolve around the stories of Ancient Rome. When I was around the age of 10, my grandparents told me that they were taking a trip to Rome. They asked me if I wanted anything from there. I asked for one thing- a picture of them in front of this statue of Romulus & Remus, and their she-wolf mother who raised them. Sadly when they went it was under repairs. My grandparents being as kind as they are, got me a little statue that has sat on my desk ever since. Seeing this, my last day in Rome has warmed that child inside me.
