#USMNT legend Earnie Stewart, now @philaunion's sporting director, has fond memories of suiting up for the US. "All I wanted to do was play for a national team, not knowing which one that would be," says Stewart, adding that he was first invited to a Netherlands camp but didn't make the final cut. "The United States is such a big and powerful country that you felt a couple of feet taller when you played for the national team and got to wear that jersey."
