It's hard for me to understand why there is so much hate, bigotry, and discrimination still out there in the world today. But no matter how long it takes, we cannot afford to let this man's dreams or work die. Acceptance and love are everything; acceptance and love of others, especially of those whose differing opinions might piss you off, different religious beliefs you might be offended by, different sex you might have Neanderthal beliefs about, skin color/looks that might make you want to unfairly categorize or judge, sexual orientation that might make you uncomfortable, and not least of all, love and acceptance of ourselves. If we don't learn to do this we will for sure all perish together as fools, as he said, and those of us who apathetically stand by will be most to blame. We can all do better.
