Just got back from a road trip ? LA-->SF and my car drove 90% of the way by itself. Straight up steered and accelerated all on its own. Also switched lanes on command. I am BLOWN away by the technology that @Tesla has implemented to this update. Back in high school I owned a grey Ford Mercury station wagon with hub caps I bought from K-Mart. The breakdowns were constant. It was a lady repellent and had a V2 cylinder that hit 60mph within 45 seconds. It was a turtle off the blocks but it got me around. I would take it to San Francisco with my friends and struggle up the grade, not knowing if we'd make it up the hill. I'd get made fun of for owning a station wagon but didn't care. I worked my ass off working as a waiter to pay it off. I always told myself that I'd work even harder to buy a car that would just go a little faster than the wagon. My favorite show growing up as a kid was "Knight Rider" and it was my dream to have a car that would come close to K.I.T.T.'s abilities.
