Fishermen wait for high tide to float their boats, #Sur, #Oman. This photograph is from my show tonight on the Silk Road. Sur, with its position at the tip of the Arabian Peninsula, once played a major role as a trading hub between India and Africa and remains to this day as the center of dhow ship building.
