Khadija is taking care of her four children and her late sister’s five children. They all live in one room in this unfinished building at Al-Khalida Al-Khamisa informal settlement in Homs, #Syria. Roula, 6, and her cousin Muhammad, 7, made a snowman after it snowed during early January this year. “We started making the snowman but we couldn’t finish it because it was too cold. We went inside to wash our hands but there was no hot water,” they said.
