Day 8. Took a stroll to the Meiji Shrine in Shibuya. I try to come here every time I'm in Tokyo. It was Josh's first time seeing it. It's still just as epic as I remember. There's a sacred tree in the shrine surrounded by walls that have small wooden tablets hanging from them. There are hundreds, maybe thousands of them. You can get one of the tablets and write a prayer or wish on it before hanging it on the wall. Each day priests will pray for the wishes around the sacred tree in a morning ceremony. Reading the words from people all over the world hung on the walls is a pretty incredible experience. There's a lot of hope hanging from that tree. #joshandryaninjapan #meijishrine
