This is the best news I've heard in a long time. Remember Harley, the poor kitty who was declawed and blind? Well, she's found her forever home from one of my friends and followers who saw her story here on my page. And since many will wonder about her sad story, here it is. Harley was abandoned by her original owners because of eye infections. She was taken to a very 'high kill' shelter that didn’t have the money to properly care for her eyes, so she was declawed. The shelter’s veterinarian felt declawing was a quick fix to her scratching her eyes, until a Rescue saved her. But no Rescue came forward to help her so a good Samaritan adopted her and took her to her personal vet who had to remove both eyes because her infections had progressed to the point to where there was no longer any treatment that would be effective. According to this good Samaritan, What it boils down to is that if Harley was taken care of at the start of her eye infection none of this would've happened.” This caring and compassionate woman kept her for a year and a half but Harley never adjusted to living with her other 7 special needs cats. So Harley lived in her bathroom (the door was always kept open but she never went out.) The Rescue in New Hampshire, FuRRR.org finally had room to take her in May 2015. And now Harley has found her final and forever loving home!!! I posted a video of her arriving at her new home on my Facebook page! ❤️ #foreverhome #rescuecat #declawed #blind #pawsneedclaws #stopdeclawing
