Picture courtesy of @Jean Jullien. I saw David Bowie live in 1996 at Phoenix Festival which you can catch on YouTube if you so desire. I was becoming familiar with his music at this time. I remember how much it rocked, how much musicality there was in the performance, how unique he appeared amongst all the acts who were technically more 'modern'. A proper musical awakening that I feel very lucky to have experienced.
