I proceded to stalk my new friend who blessed us with the FOUR tickets (he has never regretted giving his email out more). He said he was doing his best but bitch I'm tryna squeeze the Obamas in for a matinee so settle yourself. (He ain't SAY that but I gleaned it from context clues.) To occupy my time while waiting to return, I listened to the cast album (which I pre-ordered) EVERY. DAY.
So I'm in NY this week for press and my publicist (who is also my ace, my ride or die) says "Let's just stop by the box office and see if they have tickets. It worked for @ザッカリー・リーヴァイ" . . . It didn't work for me. And I tweeted as much. My new #homie Oak aka Hercules Mulligan aka James Madison DM's me the proverbial #iGotUBoo. He gives me the email of another angel from heaven and lo and behold I have 2 tickets for last night's show. The seats were magical (we were the first to the ladies' at intermission-if you've been to the show you KNOW the blessing THAT is. Oh and my seat was also the seat President Obama sat in sooooo ????) and the show was breathtaking. . . AGAIN. I got to see "best friend in my head" Lin Manuel do his thing. He was captivating. The heart and emotion he puts into Hamilton is enough to start a revolution and I for one would happily enlist to be his #RightHandMan.
I would like to thank the cast for being the icing AND cherry on an already fantastic week.
