Borussia Dortmund's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been named African footballer of the year over Yaya Toure and Andre Ayew. The striker becomes the first player to win the award from Gabon after an incredible 2015 with Dortmund. Aubameyang has scored 24 goals in 23 games in all competitions this season. He also scored 16 Bundesliga goals in the previous campaign.
