To coincide with London College of Fashion's brilliant new project #fashionarchivehour – a monthly showcase of treasures from their extensive archive – archivist Jane Holt talks us through three of her favourite pieces. First up, a #MaryQuant make-up set. "We've got a collection of Mary Quant make-up from the 1960s which was given to us by an ex-student in the 90s. There are all sorts of things – applicators, false eye-lashes, bottles of perfume, and this camouflage set. You don't really associate box sets like this with that era but Quant was quite a trend setter so she may well have been one of the first to use this kind of packaging.
