Un homme porte un enfant pour atteindre le rivage, après être tombé de leur canot. Partis de Turquie, ils ont traversé une partie de la mer Egée, avec d'autres réfugiés et des migrants, pour rejoindre l'île grecque de Lesbos, le 3 janvier 2016. Plus d'un million de personnes ont atteint l'Europe en 2015 dans le plus grand afflux de réfugiés du continent depuis la fin de la Seconde Guerre mondiale.
