SENIOR SUNDAY! New year, new beginnings! We just got an update from our friends at @susiesseniordogs!

Sweet 9 year old Janey found herself a new family just in time to ring in the New Year! Janey got adopted!! Sadly, Janey's original owner passed away. Then Janey ended up at a shelter that euthanizes based on time. Animals have only 7 days to be adopted or they are euthanized without exception. Things weren't looking so good at that point, but thankfully she was pulled by @bouncerescue in Denver, CO just in the nick of time.
Despite navigating through some of life's harshest challenges, it's now only blue skies and butterflies for miss Janey here on out! Happy New Year!

@bouncerescue wrote, "We are so excited to provide an update on Janey, our senior boxer mix in Colorado. After Janey's owner passed and she ended up in a shelter and about to be euthanized, things certainly looked bad for this sweet old gal. We found a great family named Teresa and Chris who fell in love with our sweet Janey and finalized her adoption this past week. Janey is an only pet, living with a family that loves her, and giving her the retirement she so deserves.
