FLAVORGOD.COM - MINI GINGERBREAD APPLE HAND PIES - this is how every Saturday morning should begin! - @stephiiicooks: Mini Apple Hand Pies 1 box of pie crusts, room temperature 1 egg white + 1 T water, mixed 3.5" round cookie cutter - Filling- 12oz peeled & cored apples, cut into bite sized pieces 1 T lemon juice 1/2 c brown sugar 2 T cornstarch 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon 1 T #flavorgod Gingerbread Cookie Seasoning 1/8 tsp salt Pinch ground nutmeg 1 c + 2 T water In a large bowl, mix apples with lemon juice and set aside. In a medium sized pot over medium heat, combine sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, gingerbread seasoning, salt and nutmeg. Add water and bring to a boil. Boil for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Add apples and return to a boil. Reduce heat to simmer, cover and cook until apples are tender, about 5 minutes. Remove from stove and cool for 30 minutes before making pies or turnovers. - Preheat oven to 425°F. Unroll one pie crust onto a cutting board. Use the cookie cutter to cut circles out of the pie crust. Put each round aside. Repeat with other dough. Gather up the scraps and press them altogether. Roll it out with a rolling pin as thin as it was before. Cut out more rounds. Put a rounded tablespoon of filling on one side of a round. Fold over and press the seam together by using a fork to crimp the edges. Repeat until all your filling/crust is used. Place on a lined baking sheet, an inch apart. Cut two half inch slits on top of each pie. Lightly brush on some egg wash. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until slightly golden brown. - Glaze- 1 tsp melted butter 1/4 tsp vanilla extract 1/2 c powdered sugar 1 T #flavorgod Gingerbread Cookie Seasoning, ground 1.5 - 2 T milk Mix everything together. Consistency should be fluid enough to drizzle with ease. Place in a ziplock bag. Snip a tiny piece of the corner off. Drizzle over mini Apple hand pies while still hot. - FLAVORGOD.COM

Mini Apple Hand Pies
