The new year is upon our part of the world and I don't usually get sentimental on NYE but this time, something feels different - in a good way.
A few months ago, I joined this community thinking it'd be cats all day every day (which it is and it's SO awesome) but... I also got to know the most amazing people at the same time! They take me as I am, always have my back, never make me feel small and are genuinely happy for my achievements - even the little ones. What is important to me is important to them, and they inspire me every day. They add value, purpose and light to my life with their unwavering support and belief in what I do, they make time for me, hold out a hand when I'm down, yet if necessary, they tell me the truth with love and (more importantly) kindness to motivate me to try harder, stand taller, love more... and I'm so blessed to be able to call those people "friends" now.
To my friends, it doesn't matter that we've never set eyes on each other or had a chance to do something as simple as grab a coffee because of the miles between us. The internet has made the distance disappear such that these friendships - and YOU - have changed me and changed my life irrevocably. I don't have to name (any of) you because you know who you are! I want you to start 2016 knowing how much I appreciate you. Thank you.

Thank you for all you have done and continue to do. I'm sorry for any misspoken words and the hurt or anger it may have caused you, and I love you.
