These "best nine" photos of mine tell only part of the story of the year I've had. Between fairytale landscapes, I've trudged miles through loneliness, fear, exhaustion, and loss. I've spun my wheels longer than I should in the muck of anger and indignation. I've been sick. I've been sick some more. And I've unlearned lessons I swore I'd never, ever forget. Phew.... I'm not a guzzle-champagne-on-New-Year's-Eve kinda gal, but it seems this occasion of mindful renewal couldn't come soon enough!

For 2016 I hope to shine the light of gratitude in all my darkest corners, to keep my eyes on the prizes I've already won. I resolve to resolve a little more and to dwell a little less. And while I'll still trudge when I must, I must also skip, hike, ride, and bask in stillness when I can. From fairytale to fairytale, the story continues. xx.
