SENIOR SUNDAY! We just got good news from our friends @susiesseniordogs!

Life just became incredibly grand for 9 year old Missy: She got adopted!! Missy has had a lot of bad luck in her recent years but she has finally found The Good Life that she's deserved all along. Missy was originally surrendered to a high kill shelter in Louisiana. Although the the shelter offered assistance for her care, Missy's former owner shrugged and walked off and left her behind. It's hard enough for young dogs to get adopted, but old dogs like Missy have an especially hard time.
But all that is behind Missy now. Her new family adores her as if they've always been together! The love is mutual and Missy is so happy to finally be in a home with a family who wants her. She is family! Her new dad has even been baking her homemade dog treats! Ahhhh...just as a dog's life should be. Congratulations, Missy!
