I'm heartbroken about this and want to help my new friend Harley. ?
Harley was abandoned because of her eye infections, she was taken to a very 'high kill' shelter with no money to properly care for her eyes, so she was declawed.
It was cheaper for the shelter to have done that then getting her eyes removed.
A good Samaritan took her out of the shelter and immediately adopted her and took her to her personal vet and had to have both eyes removed because her infections were so horrible.
She kept her for over a year and a half and she never adjusted to living with her other 7 special needs cats and so she lived in her bathroom for a year (door was always kept open,she just wouldn't go out)
FuRRR.org finally had the room to take her so she gave her to them and she has improved tremendously as far as living with other cats. She has so much more living space now and is not stressed out at all..?? She has been in a caring Rescue in New Hampshire for 7 months, waiting for her new forever home. Harley loves to climb up high and is a sweet and loving kitty. Please share this post in the hopes that someone will be able to adopt her.❤️ Because of her disability she does not go to their adoption events, she would be too frightened, so it's hard to get people to see her. She wouldn’t be able to travel on a plane either.
