Conservation comes in all sorts of platforms and initiatives. I have just finished reading the background on the 200 large felines confiscated from circuses and abusive relationships on the ground in Mexico by the government. These animals have been offered a better life by Eddie and the team at @Black Jaguar-White Tiger . He is the first to say that these animals would be better uncaged and wild however the hybridization of these animals in captivity over the last 100 years and their human contact means that the gene pool is too shallow to allow a rehabilitation back into the wild. All white tigers for example have been bred from one white male bengal tiger carrying the recessive gene in 1947. The team in Mexico is doing a great job of assisting these captive bred animals. #savetherhino #savelion #savetiger
