Another #QuestCrossHoliday. Where the craziest creatives outdo each other with the gift giving. For those that don't know how #WhiteElephant parties work, ours is weird. Round 1) stand in a circle and bring an open gift. A GOOD open gift. Past parties were phoned in: I gave Dr Bonners Soap. Most people regifted stuff like Beats Pills or books they never read. The Cross Couple (Dave & Amber) stressed creativity & bringing something you yourself would purchase. So the weirdness game was indeed "stepped up": Here we have Prince bball jerseys, carrot body pillows by @jumbojibbles, life sized Robots, restaurant certificates, drones, #PattiPie, #GinaGershon's "cookies", that damb floor piano from BIG, a chef to cook at your crib for 6, high end shoes, russian snack kit, Apple TV, bikes, tix to a play called "Hamilton", gaming systems, city copter rides, & "soup" made by #ParkerPosey ---as seen here). Round 2) a pair of dice are rotated. If you get a double you grab a gift! Once the last gift is grabbed you go to Round 3: TWO dice are now in rotation for 20 mins. If you get a double? You can jack someone for their moon boost sneakers or Beatles album collection or someone can jack your life raft & paddle. It gets intense. Friends are now enemies. Then the last Round (number 4!) the "The Red Wedding Round" for 15 mins THREE dice are now in rotation & just when you thought no one notices or cares for the 16 containers of mini Cap'n Crunch or Donald Trump toilet paper u tryna hide--JACKED!! suddenly #SethHerzog or #JohnRoberts are no longer comedians you admire. They are now straight up arse'oles! When the clock stops. That's it. You coulda started with 5 gifts. Now you gets none. The actual game is the best part. I don't recommend this if you are caught up in your feelings. People will come up to you like "that was MY HOT SAUCE!!!! I'm sure you got plenty!!! (Open bar don't help these convos neither) I'm already plotting and scheming on how to transfer the "dice portion" of this madness to a game of human Uno Cards. Can you imagine "skip a player" or the penalty of "draw two" or if we allow the "pilesies" rule to go down? Man!
