In keeping with my beanie theme today, my #GiftsThatGiveBack #GTGB12 pick is @loveyourmelon! LYM was started by two college sophomores -- inspiring!! -- and is now run by college students across the country. Their mission is to give a hat to every child battling cancer in America. They've reserved more than 45,000 hats to donate to children battling cancer through their buy one, give one program. This is equal to the number of children currently undergoing cancer treatment in the country! Extra awesome fact? The hats are donated in person at hospitals nationally by LYM college ambassadors dressed as superheroes.
