This cream colored cotton ball, affectionately named Scooby, came to us in severe need of medical help. The 4 month old Bichon/Poodle puppy came to our campus with severe fractures in both hind legs presumably from a blunt-force trauma to the area. Our veterinarians determined his injuries will require multiple intricate surgeries at a specialty hospital. The growth plates are the weakest areas of a growing skeleton and are very vulnerable to injury, especially for a young puppy.
