I'm standing in what's known in yoga as the "Protected Yet Vulnerable Position." It's where your exterior is like Batman wearing his "I'm about to fight Superman armor" but your heart is still an infinite world of belief in people and it's so wide open that you could carry a Vegas buffet in there sideways.
I've had a weird/awesome/silly/brilliant/boldmoves kinda day but still smiling regardless of some of the bruising you get when fucking a-holes run across your brain wearing cleated high heals.
Some personal news this morning threw me way off, some bad news from a friend, the shootings that took place here and how that happening close to home feels awful, holiday excitement swirling with missing my parents -- you know life stuff. Point is no matter what you have to be resilient and allow yourself to work through shit so you can come out a better person with great knowledge of yourself.
