Somashree Saha bathes at a handpump, in the village of Shakdah, Nadia District, West Bengal State, #India. “I don’t like bathing at the pump. I like being in the river,” said Somashree. “I always feel better, fresher, after a dip in there.” Her family draws water for household use from the handpump, which is drilled 60 metres into the ground.
