Her name is @missy_toland , and she and her classmates @uwrf_lymcrew are doing a really great thing. They are working with an orginization called @loveyourmelon . Love Your Melon is a student based organization across america on a mission to improve the lives of all children battling cancer and to put one of their beautiful beanies on their heads to keep them warm. The story behind the organization warmed my heart and, as cancer has unfortunately been a very big part of my family, it was close to home. They sell all kinds of apparel and the proceeds go to help children with cancer. With American Thanksgiving tomorrow and the Holidays around the corner i'm sure there are a lot of families that could use a little comfort, however small. Circa un mese fa, un studente da l'Università del Wisconsin-Riverfalls Missy Toland, mi ha contattato. Lei e i suoi compagni di classe stanno facendo una gran bella cosa. Stanno lavorando con un orginization chiamato @loveyourmelon, che e un'organizzazione di studenti in tutta l'America su una missione di migliorare la vita di tutti i bambini che combattono il cancro e di mettere uno dei loro bei berretti in testa per tenerli al caldo. La storia dietro l'organizzazione ha scaldato il mio cuore e, se come il cancro è stato, purtroppo, una grande parte della mia famiglia, mi ha colpito molto. Vendono tutti i tipi di abbigliamento e il ricavato va per aiutare i bambini malati di cancro. Con Ringraziamento americano domani e le feste natalizie dietro l'angolo sono sicuro che ci sono un sacco di famiglie che potrebbero usare questo aluto.
