The one good thing about being laid up with a cold is quality time spent with my tv. This weekend, I re-watched "Southern Rites" the incredible documentary written and produced by my friend Josh Alexander and executive produced by John Legend. It tells the story of how the well-worn racial divide in a Georgia town plays out, from segregated proms to local elections to the tragic murder of a young man, and how the town might find its way to some healing.
