Monthly Hashtag Project: #MHPlocalbeats

The goal this month is to take photos and videos of your local music scene, inspired by rapper Jay Prince (@loungeinparis). Today, Jay selected an image of rapper Pouya, submitted by 19-year-old Amanda Johnson (@atmosvere) of Austin, Texas.
“The photo was taken at a local music venue here in Austin called The Parish. It’s this dark, grimy spot upstairs from a pizza restaurant,” says Amanda. “Every show I’ve shot there’s had a ton of energy.”
Project Rules: Please add the #MHPlocalbeats hashtag only to visuals taken over this month and only submit your own. If you include music in your submissions, only use music to which you own the rights. Any tagged photo or video taken over the month is eligible to be featured.
