I've noticed a bunch of people commenting on my last post regarding the new YouTube video I uploaded today where I filmed me creating a pointelism-inspired look, saying that I've copied @bigandmilky.
Here's my response condensed into 3 points:
1. I filmed this tutorial 8 weeks ago [you can find the post in my timeline or under the #katsbeautychat hashtag. Also, this look was inspired by the pointillism eyeliner tutorial I filmed over a year ago [that video is also on my channel]. 2. On a technical art-nerd note, the major difference between the two looks is that @bigandmilky's approach is far more on the impressionist side, and mine more on pointelism.
3. Clearly, I've been living under a rock because I did not know who @bigandmilky was until now! So, to all the dickheads that assumed I ripped someone off, I wanna thank you for introducing me to @bigandmilky's amazing work!
Now, how about we all get off our phones and go create some shit! ❤️
