Guests were celebrating the opening of the #LawrenceWeiner exhibition, ‘Within a Realm of Distance’, this time last month @blenheimartfoundation party with a glass of Royal Salute.
Weiner, a central figure of contemporary art, has integrated works created over the course of his career and several new site-specific wall hangings, with the ornately furnished Palace rooms. In this instance Weiner has combined the rich heritage of the Palace with conceptual, innovative artworks. This is something we at Royal Salute admire as believers in the importance of tradition, yet pioneers of the future.
