Durch unser Stiftungsteam ist letzte Woche mit dem ersten Spatenstich der Startschuss für den Bau des neuen „Philipp Lahm Football Ground“ im südafrikanischen Township Philippi gefallen. Das Bauvorhaben für den Sportplatz hatte sich leider immer wieder verzögert. Umso glücklicher bin ich, dass Kinder aus dem Fußballverein von iThemba Labantu bald auf ihrem eigenen Platz trainieren können.

With a symbolic turn of the sod our foundation team kicked-off the construction of the new „Philipp Lahm Football Ground“ in the South African Township Philippi. Unfortunately the building project for the sports area was delayed over and over again. Therefore I am all the happier knowing the kids from the civic center of iThemba Labantu will be able to train on their own field soon.
