After a looong flight to Dubai, I ended up here at The Atlantis resort in Dubai - which is at the very tip of the Palm Jumeirah (a manmade island modeled after a palm frond). It's a pretty epic place to kick back for a few days with my family, especially with a huge waterpark, dolphin experience, a Nobu restaurant, and the next-level room they hooked us up with.
