A baby tamandua(lesser anteater) was born yesterday, as part of conservation program. This is not a perfect picture...but mom chose this bare barrel high in her enclosure as her den and we do not want to disrupt them in any way. This is a first time mother. We have high hopes she will not abandon her baby????❤
