For years @mornehardenberg and I have been swimming cage free with sharks, every shark including great whites. We have never posted these photos because we are very sensitive to their plight and one must really question ones motives for posting images such as these. I am very honored for my friend and comrade Morne who just got a huge write up in the Sunday Times about how we don't need to fear these animals. They have been demonized for so long, and our goal is to change people's perceptions. This shot was taken on location shooting both BBC earth series #bbcshark and my own documentary. We never wear metal suits or carry bang sticks just our cameras. They are so not after us but at the same time he's been doing it 20 years and myself for 10 and they are wild animals and can change on you in a second so not something to do unless you've put in the work. @mornehardenberg your an inspiration and a friend.
