I've never actually tried to be tiny, I just am. For many years in my youth I was ashamed of it. Over and over again I was told how wrong skinny was. That real women have curves. "Real men like curves, only dogs like bones". That even though this was the body I was given, I was still part of the problem for women, only by existing.
I hated it. I tried eating more. I didn't exercise because I was worried I would get skinnier. And it was all just as fucked up as the reversed, where thicker women are told that there is something wrong with them.
There is nothing wrong with you. You have exactly the package you are supposed to have and it's perfect and beautiful. The idea that we should all fit in to one standard is insanity. And impossible. I will never be thick, even though I dreamt of curvy thighs and big boobs. I wanted to be like the curvy girls who hated me and wanted to look like me.
It's brainwashing and it's so stupid. We need to stop comparing ourselves to each other and start learning to love our perfectly imperfect packages, be good to it and make it the happiest healthiest body we can, because we have what we have.
Surround yourself with encouraging, kind and positive people. And if someone has a problem with your body, then that's their problem, not yours.
