I wrote a script for Paramount a few years ago called El Fuego Caliente. It is a reboot of the movie Soapdish from 1991 but in the world of telenovelas instead of soap operas. By some beautiful magic, the first draft of the script was chosen to be on LA's famous black list- which is a list of the best movies of the year that never got made. Now, the Black List is doing a live table read of my script! It's going to be amazing. An almost all Latino cast and me performing these words I wrote a bunch of years ago. This is the first time any of these words will be spoken out loud, so I can't wait. 11/21, 8pm at the Montalban Theater.
