I still can't believe this happened today! Our friend @mrsamsarpong passed away today. He always seemed to be so happy and so optimistic and such a supportive and encouraging person to everyone he encountered. Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhh once again we lose another life to what I'm assuming was depression and I can't help to think we could have saved him if only we knew! ? I gotta say it again--- we've gotta start paying better attention to what our friends and family are going thru and learn to read between the lines. Real depression is so overwhelming and many people just deal with it silently and don't blatantly seek out help. They just suffer in silence. This one really hurts my heart. We met on set of a fashion shoot many years ago, hosted a show together and he was ALWAYS looking out for others!!! Please please please check on your people, your friends, your loved ones and even folks you may not be that close to. If you feel they may be going thru something--- a simple "are you ok? Do you need any help?" May make all the difference. This is my second friend I've lost to suicide.... I can't do this again. Rest in peace #SamSarpong ??????????
