Hi everyone out there on Instagram! We here at the @league_of_extraordinarycats want to explain just who we are and what we do! We are a group of kitties, cats, people, organizations, shelters and rescues from all over the world! We partake in a weekly voting for a cat organization that needs our help, then, with the power of social media and multiple reposts we can help said winner either gain attention as an inspirational kitty, help a cat in desperate need of funds, or bring attention to an amazing organization/rescue/shelter who could use some supplies! We have only been up and running for about 5 months but in that time spans we have raised over $1900 for #catsinneed and have sent out supplies and even prizes to hundreds of kitties out there! Your probably wondering...'is the LEC a recognized organization?', well, no. The two of us who run this profile put a lot of time, effort and work to manage everything going on behind the scenes. We love animals, not just cats,l. But we feel that through one good deed, we can start a figurative fire in the world! Paw-it-forward is the very Motto and heart of the LEC. Along with our dear friends Da Vinvi, Piper, Monty, Agent 007 Sphynx, Lucky, OB, Balu, Stella&Barney, Lola, Finn, Penny and Lucky (IG kitties) we oversee what happens in the League!
