#LonelyPlanet contributing photographer, @footloosefotography, recently won the #OUTDOORADVENTURE category of the 2015 Windland Smith Rice International Awards, with his photo: 'Stargazing', #Otago, South Island, #NewZealand.

The Otago Peninsula has the South Island’s most accessible diversity of wildlife. Albatross, penguins, fur seals and sea lions are some of the highlights, as well as rugged countryside, wild walks, beaches, and interesting historical sites… or, as if that wasn’t enough – you can always gaze up at the stars!
