i'm gonna rant for a minute if you all don't mind
i hate the topic of religion. i don't hate religion, i just hate when people bring up religion. you know how many times i've heard "i can't have anything to do with you because your religion is different than mine" why in the hell does it matter? most of my friends aren't the same religion i am. they do things that i don't, they live their life different than i do, but they are my favorite people in the whole world. and it doesn't matter to me what religion they are, or what standards they have, or anything of the sort. i have my own beliefs, i have my own standards and goals, and they have theirs. i don't try to force my beliefs onto them, and they don't either. i don't understand why its such a big deal, because i don't care.
