"@realhappydogs is a documentary dog photographer who covers photo stories of rescued dogs who come from hard backgrounds. Amelie the Pit Bull was found tied to a bench in Manhattan, abandoned and completely paralyzed from the neck down. Bully Project NYC took her in and placed her in specialty vet clinic, and the neurologist who worked on her case fostered her while she was under their care. Every day, he took her back and forth from the vet clinic in a red wagon because she couldn't walk, and over time, they became inseparable. Amelie is now a fully-functioning, sweet Pitie who lives with her dad and is the mascot for the animal clinic that brought her back to life!
