Wendi couldn't wait to share her newborn with us! Just a few hours after giving birth, the #DSWT graduate introduced her tiny bundle of joy to the Ithumba orphans and her human family. As you can see, the little baby was showered with love!

#Wendi's story shows the reverberating effects of saving the life of a single orphan. We rescued her from death's door as a one-week-old baby. After nearly a decade of care and support at the #DSWT, we helped her reintegrate back to a life in the wild. The fact that Wendi has started her own family in the wild, bringing her story full circle, is the ultimate testament to the success Orphans' Project.
