Optimists have negative thoughts too, they just don’t let their negative thoughts overcome their outlook on life. It’s okay to be sad/down/frustrated with life. If we don’t experience pain, we will never learn to appreciate the pleasures in life.

What makes you happy? What makes your soul glow? Make a list, write it down. Write it everywhere – in your phone, on your arm, a note on your fridge, your mirror, your front door.

Manifest positivity. Feed your savage soul. Embed the things that make you stir into the very fabric of your mind.

Watch a sunrise, get coffee, read a book, sit in the park, listen to the birds, walk along the edge of the ocean, watch the stars, dance in the rain, laugh til you cry, or cry til you laugh, give someone a hug, a compliment, give yourself a compliment, call an old friend, pick a flower, then plant a seed, make a blanket fort, watch a movie, get in your car and drive, buy a plane ticket to a foreign country, count your blessings. Never get comfortable. Push yourself. Love yourself. Radiate an energy so deep and warm that it becomes contagious. Be selfless.
Humans lose nothing by sharing their key to happiness the same way a candle loses nothing by lighting the flame of another candle.
